SCHKEUDITZER KREUZ – Sydney

Kieren Hills, Sydney, also known for his participation in DARK HORSE, DEATH CHURCH – and when still living in Stuttgart in the early 2000s – in MURDER DISCO X, started doing music on his own during the first lockdown.
The first result was a compilation of songs he wrote with vocalists from all around the world dubbed „Infected“ which was released online and on Tape and CD in 2020.

Out of this evolved his one man project SCHKEUDITZER KREUZ – a mixture of Electronic, Goth, Industrial, Post-Punk, which as of today released one 7″ and two 12″.

Now living in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales, Australia, Kieren records as SCHKEUDITZER KREUZ in a cabin that he built in the woods. His album Isolated and Alone presents an often harrowingly bleak and raw response to the present global climate – dealing with themes around fear, mistrust, and paranoia; isolation and marginalisation; and (as with the album’s previous video single, ‘Broken’), mental illness and suicide. Originally scheduled for an October 2021 release, the first vinyl pressing of the Isolated and Alone LP at a plant in China was destroyed by local authorities, who deemed it “unfit for export” due to its alleged “subversive content”; forcing the release back to December while the album was re-pressed.

After numerous gigs in Australia SCHKEUDITZER KREUZ will embark on a one month european tour this fall.

SUIR – Köln

Dark Shoegaze | Darkwave | Post-Punk

At the beginning of 2016, Denis Wanic and Lucia Seiss joined forces with their band project SUIR. The result is a mixture of Shoegaze, Cold Wave, Dark Wave and Post Punk that perfectly meets today’s zeitgeist but still remains independent enough to create its own unique sound. The music is expanded by a visual program which is strongly influenced by the origin of the two from the fields of art history and philosophy and builds a filigree and gloomy overall concept.

After three 12″ they released their newest effort „Not all of your pain is self chosen“ in 2022 on THIS CHARMING MAN RECORDS.
